About us

Sea bistro by day, moon bar by night

Moonstone sits on the second floor of Visit Panwa Pier, Cape Panwa — windows open to the bay on every side. We’re the place you come for a caffeine fix, stay for brunch and leave after sunset.

What we believe

The best of the best ingredients

At Moonstone we select the best ingredients we can find to make the best quality possible. Fish comes from the Andaman sea and is dry-aged in-house; sourdough, sauces, strawberry sauce and ice cream are made by our own team.

Behind the bar, four house coffee blends, kombucha, matcha and a short list of cocktails keep things simple — and seasonal.

We age our fish ourselves

Dry-ageing draws out moisture and deepens flavour. We do it in-house with local Thai fish — seabass and halibut — then batter it in beer and fry at exactly 170°C, the temperature we landed on after testing many: fluffy inside, crispy outside.

Life at the pier

More than a cafe

Afternoon DJ sessions, wine tasting nights at blue hour, Moonstone caps and totes to take home — and we’re pet friendly, so bring the dog.
